Buying Adobe licenses or hiring someone to implement Adobe?

“Adobe solutions” can mean two different things, served by two different kinds of vendor. It pays to separate them before you ask for a quote.

ProductsCreative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Acrobat and Document Cloud: per-user licenses.Adobe Experience Cloud: Adobe Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, Analytics, Target, Marketo Engage, Journey Optimizer and Workfront.
What you getThe licenses, invoicing, seat administration and renewals.Architecture, development, ERP and payment integrations, migration, launch and ongoing operations.
DurationA purchase that renews every year.A project measured in months, then ongoing support.
How it is judgedLicense price and delivery speed.Whether the platform works in production and pays back the investment.
How to vet themAsk for their Adobe authorized reseller accreditation.Look them up in the Adobe Solution Partner Directory: partner tier and product specializations.

WolfSellers does not resell Adobe licenses. We are a Solution Partner: we implement and operate Adobe Experience Cloud. You contract Experience Cloud licenses with Adobe, which quotes them based on each product's volume; what we do is help you define what you need before you sign, so you don't pay for modules you won't use. We cover it in depth in how to right-size Adobe Experience Cloud.

If what you need is Creative Cloud or Acrobat licenses for your team, look for an authorized reseller. It is a different kind of vendor, and we would rather tell you here than on a call.

How to vet an Adobe partner before you hire one

It applies just as much if you are evaluating us. Five checks that don't depend on taking anyone's word for it:

  1. 1Look them up in the Adobe Solution Partner Directory, which shows their tier and product specializations.
  2. 2Ask for the certifications of the people who will work on your project, not just the company's tier.
  3. 3Ask for case studies in Mexico, ideally in your industry, and a call with those clients.
  4. 4Ask who delivers: whether the team pitching the proposal is the one that builds it, or the work is subcontracted.
  5. 5Check what happens after launch: support hours, response times and who handles an outage in the middle of the night.

Frequently asked questions

Who can implement Adobe solutions in Mexico?
It depends on the solution. For Creative Cloud or Acrobat you need an authorized license reseller. For Adobe Experience Cloud — Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento), Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Marketo Engage, Workfront and the rest — you need an Adobe Solution Partner specialized in the product. WolfSellers is an Adobe Gold Solution Partner headquartered in Mexico City since 2014, with a team of 135 people; we implement Experience Cloud for companies in Mexico, Latin America, the United States and Canada. To compare options, the Adobe Solution Partner Directory lists partners with their tier and specializations.
Does WolfSellers resell Adobe licenses?
No. We are a Solution Partner, not a reseller: we implement and operate Adobe Experience Cloud. Experience Cloud licenses are quoted by Adobe based on each product's volume metric — GMV for Adobe Commerce, traffic for Experience Manager Sites, contacts for Marketo Engage — and our part is helping you define what you actually need before you negotiate, so you don't pay for modules you won't use. If you need Creative Cloud or Acrobat licenses for your team, an authorized reseller is the right call.
How much does an Adobe implementation in Mexico cost?
It depends on the product and the scope. As a reference from our projects, an Adobe Commerce implementation starts at roughly MXN 500,000 without integrations and around MXN 1 million with integrations such as ERP, payments or omnichannel; Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform are usually projects of six months or more. That is the implementation service: the license is contracted separately with Adobe. Your number comes out of a free discovery call.
Do you work with companies outside Mexico City?
Yes. Our office is in Mexico City and we deliver projects across Mexico, including Monterrey and Guadalajara, remotely and with travel for workshops and launches. We also serve Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru, and the United States and Canada nearshore: Mexico City is within two hours of the Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones, so most of the working day is shared.
Can you take over an Adobe project that stalled?
Yes. Rescuing delayed or unstable implementations is part of what we do: first a diagnostic of the code, infrastructure and backlog, then a plan to stabilize and finish, or to rescope if needed.
What support do you provide after launch?
Ongoing support and maintenance with certified specialists: security patches, version upgrades, monitoring and sprint-based improvement. Critical incidents, such as an outage or a broken checkout, are handled 24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
How do we get started?
With a free 45 to 60 minute discovery call. We review your operation, your systems and the Adobe products you have or are evaluating, and come back with a phased plan and a realistic range. If your case fits another platform better, we will tell you on that call.
