Juguetron: B2C store with multi-source inventory and BOPIS on Adobe Commerce
We implemented Juguetron's B2C store on Adobe Commerce: multi-source inventory, in-store pickup (BOPIS) tied to its ERP, intelligent search and business rules.

On this page
For Grupo Juguetron, a Mexican toy development, manufacturing, distribution and retail company, we at WolfSellers implemented a B2C online store on Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento). We enabled multi-source inventory by branch, buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS) connected to its ERP, intelligent search and business rules.
Project overview
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Client | Grupo Juguetron |
| Industry | Toys: development, manufacturing, distribution and sale |
| Market | Mexico |
| Project type | B2C online store implementation |
| Platform | Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento), with Multi-Source Inventory (MSI) |

| Integrations | Juguetron's ERP, for in-store pickup |
The challenge
The project had to fully configure and customize the brand's features, tools and visual identity, and offer in-store pickup, which depends on connecting branch inventory to the ERP.
The solution
For this implementation we activated these Adobe Commerce features.
Multi-Source Inventory
Global inventory control, with each product's quantities by branch.
Buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS)
Pickup at a physical store requires the connection with the ERP, which deducts inventory across sources.
Business rules
- Deactivate products when they reach minimum stock.
- Set the minimum purchase.
- Cap the maximum purchase quantity of the same product.
Intelligent search
Search by synonyms, antonyms, filler words and keywords, to make searching easier for customers.
User experience
An experience designed for easy, fast purchases.

Results
- Inventory by branch: global inventory control, with each product's quantities by branch.
- In-store pickup, connected to the ERP.
- Expo Juguetes 2021: an ecommerce site complemented the experience of the expo, an in-person event at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
- Continuous improvement: when we published this case study, the store was still receiving improvements and updates.
What applies to other retail projects
- BOPIS starts in the ERP. Without the ERP connection there is no cross-source inventory deduction.
- Business rules from the start. Minimum stock and minimum and maximum purchase quantities are configured in the platform.
- Search that understands customers. Synonyms and filler words make it easier to find what people are looking for.
- Digital supports physical. At Expo Juguetes 2021, ecommerce complemented an in-person event.
